Harsher cleaners, degreasers, or acidic/alkaline soaps can break down the coating over time, leading to fading or premature wear. A mild automotive soap or dish soap mixed with water works great for routine cleaning.

Here are some additional tips to help keep your powder-coated items looking their best:

• Regular Cleaning- Wash your powder coated items periodically to remove dirt, dust and grime. A soft sponge or microfiber cloth works best to prevent scratches.
• Avoid Abrasive Cleaners – Stay away from strong chemicals, pressure washers on high settings or abrasive brushes that could damage the coating.
• Rinse Thoroughly – Always rinse off any cleaning solution completely to prevent residue buildup.
• Check for chips or Scratches – If you notice any chips, touch them up with a matching paint or clear coat to prevent rust from forming.
